WELCOME TO OUR FARM! Our 360 acre farm is located in Chittenden, Vermont and has been in the Baird family for four generations. Bonnie and Robert, and their daughters Averie and Jenna, own and operate the farm.

	Besides producing maple syrup, we raise 150 Holstein heifers. They arrive at our farm as newborns, and stay until they are two years old. We then sell the heifers to dairy farms before they calve and begin producing milk.
	Our land has been permanently conserved by the Vermont Land Trust. This means that our farmland will always be available for agriculture in the future. We are quite proud that in 1999 we were chosen the Vermont Conservation Farm of the year.
